The crack dynamic propagation system, based on optical measurement and machine vision technology, is used to track and measure the length of axial cracks in large components during the slow propagation process in damage tolerance tests. It ensures the accuracy of test data, reduces the risk of manual data reading, and can obtain the real-time correlation between crack length and cycle number.
Suitable for: inspection of large components, defect detection of large wall panels, and material strength testing.
Function:
1. Dynamic Measurement. The workpiece undergoes random up-and-down vibrations. During the vibration process, cracks can expand at any time. The expansion of cracks can be recorded in real time, and clear images of cracks on the workpiece surface can be captured and saved at any time. Defects are processed by detection software to measure their actual length and record images and data.
2. Vertical displacement of 30mm. Using a specially designed camera, lens, and matching light source, it can accurately measure the crack propagation length of components with a maximum vertical amplitude of 15mm (height difference of 30mm).
3. Height Measurement. It can accurately measure the height of a component when it is subjected to external force, and is linked to the change in crack length, with an accuracy of 0.01mm.
4. Cycle count reading. It can directly read the cycle count of the applied external force on the computer monitor of the experimental platform and link it to the crack length.
5. Bidirectional detection. Generally, cracks propagate in two directions, left and right. This measuring device can simultaneously measure the crack propagation length in both directions.
6. Wide-range detection. It can automatically track the expansion and changes of cracks and perform long-distance tracking measurements, with a measurement range of 800mm (longer ranges can also be customized).
7. Data and images are saved on the local hard drive, and historical test data can be queried.
8. Click anywhere on the crack image to directly obtain the crack length, etc.
